After a hearty breakfast, you will start 'early in the morning'. After crossing the mountains of the Middle Atlas, we drive to Ifrane nicknamed "Little Switzerland" so that, for a moment, there seem to be in Morocco. Through this unusual landscape, we arrive in the Cedar forest, where we meet some ape. We will continue at a time of Midelt, beautiful village famous for its sweet apples, and we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, after lunch, we will continue towards the desert of Erg Chebbi. Rissani is surrounded by 360 ksars (fortified villages with numerous towers) and is famous for its open-air souk, held three times a week, where locals trade goods in a lively and colorful market atmosphere. Take a walk through the town’s palmeraie, observing daily life on the edge of the desert.
Next, visit the Ksar Oulad Abdelhalim, built around 1900 for Sultan Moulay Hassan, before continuing your journey through the open black desert back toward Merzouga.
