Later on, we will continue the journey to Sahara, we will spend some unforgettable moments, thereby doing a tour around Erg Chebbi Dunes, visiting nomad families, and ending by having a night in a desert camp. Tour Plan

Day 1 Casablanca Arrival - Transfer to rabat

Overnight in: Rabat.
Meals: Breakfast
Optional(s): Arrival Fast Track.

Once you land in Casablanca, the beauty of the Ocean, our local driver guide will pick you up at the exit of the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Rabat. Once arrived, check-in and have free time to rest.

Day 2 Rabat - Chefchaouen

Overnight in: Chefchaouen.
Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at your hotel, join your tour guide to discover the capital city of Morocco. Rabat was founded by Abd Al-Mu’min, a ruler of the Almohad dynasty for military reasons. It was built to serve as a fortress, hence its original name Ribatu l-Fath, meaning “stronghold of victory”.  Our guided tour in Rabat will then revolve around uncovering the history of Rabat. The tour includes a visit to the Royal Palace, Chellah, Hassan Tower, and Kasbah Ouddaya.  Free time afterward to stroll around the souks and bazaars in the old medina of Rabat which are full of all type of merchandise, as well as leather, made traditional and modern shoes alongside Moroccan styles bags with some authentic
Berber style and old jewelry shops. Then, Continue to “Café Maure “on the ban of river Bouregrag, to enjoy a Moroccan mint tea alongside some Moroccan goodies. 

After the tour, you will be taking the road and say goodbye Rabat and Hello Chefchaouen.

Day 3 Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

Overnight in: Fez.

After breakfast start your tour which includes a visit to Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid Plaza Uta el-Hammam and a tour of this beautiful city.

Chefchaouen is Morocco’s “Blue Pearl”. It has come to be known as such due to a distinctive blue color all the inhabitants use to paint their houses. This tradition trace back to the Jewish traditions and beliefs that the color blue represents the sky which in turn reminds people of heaven and God. This color covering the city gives it an amazing charm as well as a sense and an atmosphere of relaxation, comfort, and peace.  Have you heard of healing pearls and gems? Well, this one really works. End the day at Fez, the Capital of science and Knowledge. Along the way, you will be making a stop by Volubilis and Meknes. The archeological site of  Volubilis is listed by UNESCO as a worldwide heritage. You will walk around the remains of the Roman and Berber cultures that once occupied it. Afterward, the trip will continue to the Imperial City of Meknes, one of Morocco’s lesser-visited. It was built by Moulay Ismail and was conceived to be the ‘Versailles of Morocco’.

Day 4 Fez Exploration Tour

The imperial city of Fes is the city that most reflects the ancestral past of the Moroccan kingdom and its ancient civilization. It was and still remains the core of the intellectual and spiritual creativity, not only in Morocco, but also in the Islamic world. Fes houses the oldest university in the world, Al Quaraouiyyne and its ancient medina was classified as Universal Heritage by UNESCO in 1981.

The medina: Traditionally your exploration of the medina should start at the Bab Boujlloud Gate. The first monument to visit is the vast Bou Inania medersa. As you continue along Talaa Kebira Street (big climb), you will particularly admire the Tijani zaouïa (zaouïa, sanctuary of a religious brotherhood) and the instrument makers’ souk before arriving at the mzara (shrine) of the ancient sovereign Moulay Idriss situated at the place where he took the decision to build the town. Once you have passed the babouche vendors, you arrive in En-Nejjarine Square and the cabinetmakers’ souk. The magnificent carved foundouk (caravanserai) on the square houses the Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts. The kissaria (covered market), where jewellery and fine fabrics are on sold, is nearby (it is shut at night). Next to it, you can admire the most visited and revered attraction in Fès: the zaouïa of Moulay Idriss, founder of the town. Your walk continues on to Es-Seffarine Square, the coppersmith square, and then to the tanners’ quarter situated just before the Andalusian quarter with its mosque and the Es-Sahrij medersa.

Medresas: A Medersa is a school where the Koran is taught along with all the classic subject of learning: mathematics, grammar, history, astronomy, medicine… In Morocco, and especially in Fès, medersas have the important role of integrating students from other regions. Generally, they are built around a central courtyard with a fountain.

El-Attarine : The Merenids built this masterpiece between 1323 and 1325. Its central courtyard is magnificently decorated. Its walls are covered with sura engraved in wood or plaster. The fountain and marble columns are embellished with zellige (tiled mosaic).

Bou Inania : This Medersa, built between 1350 and 1357, is the biggest in Fès . Pass through the magnificent entrance with its heavy copper work doors, and then be impressed by the abundance of earthenware, the refinement of the sculptured wood and plaster and the chiselled stalactites called mukarnas, the hallmark of Merenid architecture. A canopy of typical Fès green tiles surmounts the onyx and marble courtyard.

Day 5 Fez - Ifrane - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

Overnight in: Merzouga.

After breakfast, you’ll leave Fez to the Desert passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Berber village of Immouzer Kandar and Ifrane, a wonderful mountains village, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. we arrive in the cedar forest of Azrou where we meet some Barbary macaque monkeys. We will continue at a time of Midelt, a beautiful village famous for its sweet apples, where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, after lunch, we will continue towards the desert of Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will be travelling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau; you’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. Afterwards, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive at Merzouga guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. On your way, pause to watch the sunset then continue your ride – seemingly in the middle of nowhere! Dinner and overnight will be under the stars, in a traditional Berber nomad tent

Day 6 Merzouga - Ouarzazate

Overnight in: Ouarzazate

Wake up and enjoy a lovely breakfast at your Comp over the dunes.

Then travel today between Erfoud and Ouarzazate. En-route, stop in the Todra Gorge, these gorges are located just southwest of Tinerhir and some 110 km (65 miles) from Ouarzazate. After some stunning photos, before continuing our drive to Ouarzazate, stop in Skoura – one of Morocco’s beautiful oases. At first glance from the road, it resembles a sort of thin, long, oasis but if you have a chance to explore it, you will notice it is rather large and impressive.

Day 7 Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Overnight in: Marrakech

After Breakfast, meet your driver guide .Here are some of our favorite catch phrases that maybe we do not get to say. However, today you’ll have the chance to visit the Atlas studios home of some of the world’s most loved films and series like the Mummy, Gladiator, Asterix and Obelicx and of course “embrace yourself “Game of thrones. So, make the best of it. En route enjoy the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass and Ait Ben Haddou – the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. Once arrival Marrakech, enjoy time at leisure to explore at your own pace or relax at your hotel.

Day 8 Marrakech City Tour

Today you will get the chance to wake up and live Marrakech, a dream of many, so be sure to make the best of it. After your breakfast our local guide and driver guide will be waiting for you to start was named after the French painter, Jacques Majorelle who dedicated a lot of effort and passion to this art piece. After Majorelle let’s continue after it to Menara and though the name in Arabic translates to “lighthouse”, it is actually a pavilion with a basin and a garden of orchards and olive groves. We will be heading afterwards to the Koutobia Mosque and through the Jewish quarter called Mallah, viist the Bahia palace before to finish your visit to Jamaa El Fnaa square.
The more you know: Marrakesh is known for being holy, Moroccans call it “the land of the seven men” who were huge religion and Sufi scholars that gave their lives for knowledge and worship guided city tour of the “Ochre City”. After breakfast, meet your driver to travel to Casablanca; the economic capital of morocco. in the road enjoy the natural views which symbolizes the diversity of the natural richness in Morocco when you arrive to Casablanca you will be joined with your local guide for a visit of the Hassan II mosque then you will explore the city in road to la Cathédrale Sacré Coeur, Habous Quarter, La Corniche, before check in your hotel.

Day 10 Casablanca - Departure
