Marrakech Arrival

Your Morocco Travels And Trips driver will meet you at Marrakech Menara airport, then you will be escorted to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Check in at your hotel. Dinner at leisure and overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2
Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate
Overnight in: Ouarzazate.

After Breakfast at your hotel. We leave the hustle of the city behind and travel the rugged road to Ouarzazate through the spectacular scenery of the Atlas Mountains.
Stop in the Kasbah town of Ait Ben Haddou which, at a height of 1,160m, stands in stark contrast to this vast plateau. Originally a crossing point for traders crossing the Sahara Desert, this UNESCO world heritage site is equally recognized as the location for films such as ‘Laurence of Arabia’ and ‘Gladiators’.
Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 3
Ouarzazate - Tinghir - Merzouga
Overnight in: Merzouga.

you will leave Ouarzazate in the morning, after your breakfast and shower and head towards Todra Gorges, one of the most beautiful and impressive canyons in Morocco, which is so tight that is named after the human “throat” or gorge. You will have some time to walk through the canyon and enjoy the sight and the sound of the river passing through.
From Todra Gorge you will continue towards Merzouga through breath-taking landscapes and along with many oasis of palm trees. We will pass through the small town of Erfoud, where you’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet and then continue to Merzouga. Depending on your arrival time to Merzouga, you will have some time to relax before the camel trek, or you will start the right away to spend the night in the desert in a Berber camp.
The camel trek starts around 17:00 -18:00 in the summer and around 16:00 – 17:00 in the winter and takes around 1 hour. When you arrive at the camp, you will enjoy the sights of the Sahara dunes and the sunset, you will be welcomed with a traditional Moroccan tea, later on the dinner will be served in the main tent (restaurant). After dinner, you will enjoy the desert music played by locals and a camp fire. Don’t forget to look up in the sky, to find an amazing view of countless stars. Please keep in mind that the campfire is only during the cold months (at night) and when there is no wind.
Day 4
Merzouga - Ouarzazate
Overnight in: Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, we leave Merzouga toward to Rissani is the ancient capital of Tafilalet (once Sijilmassa ) is the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling family. With most of the women veiled, and men hooded, this is a very traditional Moroccan town, also it was a major road of caravan and considered as a commercial center in the region with a large market “Souk”. We will continue our journey by driving toward the Draa Valley by passing Alnif where would have a break for coffee and a toilet, then later continue our trip to N’Qob to have lunch there, then later we carry on our trip to Agdz by overpass the Draa Valley; considered as the most extensive river here in Morocco at 1,100 kilometers and it flows out from mountains of High Atlas. In addition to that, the Draa valley knowing with it’s a stunning oasis home to Berber villages, impressive kasbahs, and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Thereafter, we carry forward to Ouarzazate by crossing Ait Saouen pass. Spend your night including dinner and breakfast.
Day 5
Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Overnight in: Marrakech.

After breakfast, we will depart to Marrakesh through the famous Tizi–in-Tichka pass over the High Atlas Mountains. The range has snow on its peaks most of the year. Appreciate the beauty of the timeless landscapes on the twisted roads through Berber villages.
Day 6
Marrakech Exploration Day
Overnight in: Marrakech.

Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour with your expert guide. Start with the tropical Majorelle Gardens, lovingly restored under the patronage of the late Yves St. Laurent. Continue to the defining landmark of Marrakech is the 12th-century tiled minaret of the Koutoubia mosque.
Visit Palais Bahia, a 19th century palace boasts a large courtyard, beautiful fountains, tiles, ornate wall-carvings, gardens, and is an excellent spot to find tranquillity and marvel at traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.
Optional Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the medieval Medersa ben Youssef (koranic university) – one of the finest Islamic monuments in North Africa. Nearby there is the Musée de Marrakech, housed in the sumptuous, 19th-century Mnebhi Palace. Stop for tea or orange juice at the beautifully restored Dar Cherifa, which houses a cultural foundation, bookstore, and art gallery (with rotating exhibitions).
Explore the colourful Souks (marketplaces) of Marrakech. Each trade – spices, carpets, jewellery, enamel, copper, brass, and cedar – is situated in its unique quarter.
In the early evening, head towards the frenetic Djemaa el Fnaa. It provides ever-changing entertainment, reaching its climax at sunset when the square is alive with storytellers, healers, snake charmers, acrobats, and countless food stalls. We recommend a drink in one of the terraces overlooking the square.
Day 7
Marrakech Departure

Wake up and enjoy a lovely breakfast at your hotel before heading to Marrakech Menara Airport to catch a flight back home.
